In private beta. We are onboarding contractors in small groups.

For electrical, HVAC, refrigeration & plumbing contractors

Stop showing up blind to the panel

A weatherproof QR sticker goes on the switchgear, the rooftop unit, the rack. Your customer scans it to request service. Your tech scans the same sticker and sees the nameplate, every past visit, and exactly what feeds it.

No app for your customer to install. No CAD drawings to maintain.

The problem

The truck is there. The information is not.

A call comes in as "the cooler is warm". Nobody knows which unit, which rack it runs off, or what the last tech found. So you send someone to go look, and the real repair happens on the second trip.

The vague dispatch

"Something is beeping in the back." The store manager does not know a condenser from a contactor, and should not have to.

The hunt

Twenty minutes finding the panel, tracing the feed, and calling the office to ask whether anyone has been out here before.

The second trip

The part was never on the truck, because nobody knew the model number until somebody was standing in front of it.

The idea

One sticker. Two completely different screens.

ProTag knows who is scanning. The customer gets a way to reach you. Your tech gets the service record.

Every screenshot below is the real product, not a mockup.

Customer scans

A branded way to call you, tied to that exact unit

Your company name, your colours, your dispatch number. One tap to call, or a short form that already knows which equipment it is and where it sits. No account, no app, nothing to download.

  • Request lands with equipment and address already attached
  • Photo of the problem, straight from their camera
  • Your branding, not ours

Your tech scans

The whole history, before the panel cover comes off

Same sticker, signed-in session. Nameplate, specs, every logged visit with photos, open requests, and the feed chain above and below this unit.

  • Fed from and feeds, so you know what goes dark
  • Model, serial, refrigerant, filter and belt sizes
  • What the last tech found, in their words

What makes it different

The feed chain, without the CAD drawing

Knowing what a unit is matters less than knowing what it hangs off. ProTag records upstream and downstream in the same two taps it takes to add the equipment.

Tag the switchgear, then the transformer it feeds, then the panel, then the refrigeration rack, then the case. Each one points at its parent. That is the whole modelling effort.

From then on, any tech scanning the walk-in evaporator can walk the chain up to the main breaker without opening a drawing, calling the office, or guessing.

  • Where do I kill power answered in one screen
  • What else goes dark answered before you throw it
  • No drafting, no site survey, no separate diagramming tool

Print a roll of blank tags and go

You do not have to know what a sticker goes on before you print it. Generate a batch, print the sheet, keep it in the van. A tech sticks one on a panel, scans it, and sets it up right there.

Printable label sheet, 12 per page
A printable ProTag label sheet: twelve two-inch square labels on US Letter, each with the contractor name, equipment name, QR code, tag ID and dispatch number, with dashed cut guides.

An actual sheet generated by the product.

Sized for stock you can already buy

Two inch square labels, twelve to a US Letter sheet, matching Avery 22806 and equivalents. Dashed cut guides mean plain paper and a laminator works too, on every plan. Thermal roll export comes with Commercial Fleet.

  • Every label carries your company name and dispatch number, so a customer can call without scanning
  • A human readable tag ID under the code, for when the sticker is scratched or greasy
  • Reassign a tag when a condenser gets replaced, or when one went on the wrong panel
  • Retire a tag when the sticker is destroyed, so scans stop resolving
How it works

Tagged this morning, paying off this afternoon

Add the site

Address, site contact, and the notes that matter: where the panel room key hangs, which door the alarm is on.

Tag the equipment

Pick a category and the right spec fields appear. An RTU asks tonnage and filter sizes, a panelboard asks voltage and feeder conductors.

Stick and scan

Put the label on the unit. Anyone who scans it from now on lands on the right screen for who they are.

Log every visit

Readings, parts, photos. The next tech reads it before they get out of the truck, and closes the request from the same screen.

For the office

Requests land sorted, not guessed at

Every scan-generated request arrives with the equipment, the site and a callback number already on it. Dispatch stops playing twenty questions.

Dispatch view: open requests and recent visits

Questions we get

Straight answers

Do my customers need an app?

No. The camera app on any modern phone reads the code and opens a web page. There is nothing to install and no account to create.

Will the stickers survive a rooftop?

Print on outdoor rated vinyl or polyester label stock and they hold up to weather, wash-down and UV. The tag ID is also printed in plain text underneath, so a damaged sticker can still be keyed in by hand.

What happens when we replace a unit?

Move the tag to the new equipment in two taps, or retire it and put a fresh one on. The old unit keeps its service history either way.

Can a competitor scan our tags and see our work?

No. Anyone scanning without a signed-in account sees only your branded service request page. Specs, service history and the feed chain require an account on your company's ProTag.

Is this another diagramming tool?

No. There is no drawing canvas and no site survey. You record what feeds what while you are tagging, which takes seconds, and that is enough to answer the question techs actually ask.

How do techs log in with gloves on?

A full sign-in once on a phone, then a quick unlock every time after that, with no password to retype one-handed on a ladder. The shortcut only works on a device that has already signed in properly, so a shared password on its own is not enough to get in.
